The broad objective of the course is to provide candidates with the ability to:
- Establish an OHS Management System in accordance with legislative, organisational and site requirements.
- Interpret and demonstrate
understanding of the requirements of such guidance documents in developing a suitable system.
- Utilise a thorough knowledge of risk management and its context in developing the system.
- Incorporate incident and emergency response requirements in the system.
- Supplement the process with training knowledge for implementation.
- Establish an implementation plan and approach for ensuring effectiveness.
